Panorama Station/Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel — Attraction in Tokamachi

This place is nothing but a tourist trap for people who want to do the influencer photo at the end. The views of the gorge outside the tunnel are better than inside. Any enjoyment of the experience is counteracted by the ¥1000 entry fee. Nature should be freely accessible to all. And outside of the nature all you get is random fun house mirrors and tables, a one way window toilet for some reason, and a reflection pool. A super spectacular view. Just make sure you get there right as it opens or there is a potential of you standing in line for over an hour inside of the tunnel to see the very end. In my opinion it is not worth standing in the line just for a photo opportunity. If you choose not to wait in line you can walk past line to take a picture of the end of the tunnel. I thought the point of the tunnel was to enjoy the scenery, for it to be an experience of connecting us with nature in a meaningful and different way.
