This place is nothing but a tourist trap for people who want to do the influencer photo at the end. The views of the gorge outside the tunnel are better than inside. Any enjoyment of the experience is counteracted by the ¥1000 entry fee. Nature should be freely accessible to all. And outside of the nature all you get is random fun house mirrors and tables, a one way window toilet for some reason, and a reflection pool. You may as well just go on a real hike and spend the 1.5km actually being able to see stuff. I would only recommend it to huge fans of dark tunnels who want to see where the local...

A super spectacular view. Just make sure you get there right as it opens or there is a potential of you standing in line for over an hour inside of the tunnel to see the very end. In my opinion it is not worth standing in the line just for a photo opportunity. If you choose not to wait in line you can walk past line to take a picture of the end of the tunnel. There is a shuttle that takes you back and forth to the parking lot on top of the hill however, it is quite the weight in between pick up...

I thought the point of the tunnel was to enjoy the scenery, for it to be an experience of connecting us with nature in a meaningful and different way. If that is indeed the point then it's definitely lost on most visitors! Most people are there just to take instagram pictures! Some even take their sweet time retaking pictures of the same spot. It's also crowded too. I'd recommend it if you're in the area and have time to kill or of course, if your main aim is to...
