Ōgi Ike — Attraction in Tokyo

Highly-recommended place to appreciate nature and learn about its natural historical background. Our guide talks about the plants endemic to the island as well as the remains/fossilized shells of ancient snails that used to live in the area. The sand on the way to Ogiike feels good when you walk on barefoot. We've seen the birds, crabs, and fish just around the island.

The surrounding waters of Minamijima feature pods of dolphins and whales. Their generous presence satisfies me.

Must-go on the tour schedule. There are some seasonal limitations, so after some date in Nov the tour operators cannot land there anymore, so make sure to check the schedule. 最高の場所です。ツアーでしか行くことができません。南島という名前の島。この入口は、高波だと、入れないので、運がいいと入れます。人間が誰も住んだことがないと思われる島です。小笠原に来たのなら、ぜひ、行ってほしい場所。この青い、まさに、夢にも出てきそうな風景の楽園のようでした。私が訪れたのはGWの終わり。気候もよく、泳ぐことができました。このツアーの前後には、クジラを見たり、イルカと一緒に泳ぎました。この島には、ショップ等はないです。丘の上から見れる景色は、最高です。船が付く場所から、南の島への上陸は、何か人間が人工的に作った港はないので、多少足を大きく広げて、冒険家になった気持ちで、上陸出来ます！草花もありますが、人間が何かしたわけではないです。鳥がいました。虫はいないかも。カタツムリの残骸があります。このカタツムリが、世界遺産になった理由です。父島に...
