When you are hungry after a climb you don't really get a lot of options. No English menus but they have pictures which helps with ordering. If you go in autumn and can understand and appreciate the namesake: maple place. Also the mushroom soup is a specialty of...

The view of Fuji-san will depend on the weather on the day. Its a lovely destination for some outdoors hiking or running. The old Japanese man doesn"t really speak any English and seems a little grumpy but its not really a problem :) The food is still delicious...

山頂から陣場山方面に7～8分ほど長い石段を下りた先にあります。もみじ台の名前通り紅葉の時期には茶屋を囲むもみじが見事。富士山もよく見えて人も少ないのでお薦めです。
