An oasis for birds and birders in southwest Tokyo, the park has a small fee (JY300 for adults), but it offers an excellent birding experience worth far more. Despite being surrounded by freight terminals and warehouses, the grounds are lush, well-maintained, and with a half dozen high quality blinds (many of which have good spotting scopes available for use) and a beautiful Nature Center that overlooks the largest tidal pond and allows comfortable birding no matter the weather. It is easily accessed by public transport. Just keep in mind that its hours are 9-5, and you can't go in after 4:30. Read moreIt’s located close to haneda airport. There’s bus line between station and park but only two buses per an hour. But if you have to wait why not walking? It took about less than 20 minutes. There’s entrance fee about 300 yen.
There are 4 huts that you could sit and observe. Also some open areas. A natural center. I met quite a few of birds herons cormorants mallards and lots of tsubame flying about.

Read moreA very nice atmosphere, hard to think of when you see all the truck-packed-roads all around the park. You don't hear much of it from where you enter the park. Unfortunately there is an about 300Yen(?) fee you have to pay, ANYTIME you go there. No all-year-passes available. Apart from that nothing to complain, on almost all stations are proper nikon minoculars attached, so you can see the birds up close.
