Shogawa Water Memorial Park — Attraction in Tonami

Nice park memorializing the dam built along the river here. There are some restaurants, shops, and both paid and free museums. Kid friendly. They also have occasional festivals here. It's worth a stop if you're in the area and interested in learning more about local woodworking traditions. Free restrooms are also available, as is a simple bicycle station. Beautiful place in cherry blossom season🌸 Not even a glimpse of foreign tourist on the day I visited, perhaps due to the bad weather. Just a few local visitors, and the place is so pretty and peaceful. The lady who is a park keeper is very nice too, who proactively lend a hand to take pictures with me and my husband.
