One of the major love shrines in Japan. Some interesting things about this place: 1. You can buy a mamori that is for your skin condition. It shows "肌守" on the cloth. This is closely connected with the origin of this shrine as the rabbit that matched the man with the princess was suffering from skin disease, and as it jumped into the pond located inside the shrine, the water healed its fur and the rabbit is pretty again. 2. You can buy a love mamori that's in the shape of a rabbit head - really cute and not expensive. 3. You can pay 500 yen for a bag of 5 goen stones. The ritual is that if you can successfully throw the stone above the ⛩ and it stays there, your wish will come true. Sad news is that space is limited on the ⛩ so if your stone can stay there, usually it means that you've shot someone's stones down instead.

The reason I come here is because of the hare/rabbit. But my partner tells me the story behind of the Shrine, and how lovely it is when I realized (for details I would recommend you to go to Tottori official website to check out). And you could pray for your good health there too. I am not in a good condition when I travel there, and I pray for that and I hope the hare will bless me for the coming year. P.S there’s a real rabbit in the rest area in front of the shrine, who’s been serving as the area manager for many years!
