Snow・World・Toya — Attraction in Toyako

An experience you shouldn't missed during winter. We paid 18,000¥ for double ride and 13,000¥ for single ride via tour agent. Recommended to go toilet first as the 30mins journey won't have any toilet as middle of no where. Then you'll enter a small room where staff will give you a suitable helmet for you. You can borrow their mittens free which I recommend. This is because its wind and water prove and most importantly warmer. You will then being brief by the staff on how to control the snow mobile. Of course it's in Japanese but our tour guide can translate for us. Basically one hand to accelerate, another hand for break. Keep distance among snow Mobile about 2 or 3 meters to be safe. There are guides at the front and end of the snow Mobile tour in case you need help. We stopped by a place to take stunning picture of lake Toya and enjoy the scenery before heading back to camp. Very reasonably priced location to have a nice, guided snowmobile experience with views of Lake Toya. After paying at the office, you will get fitted with gloves and a helmet. You then get a rundown of the rules and a basic guide of how to operate the snowmobile.
