Maeda Park — Attraction in Toyota

Went for a morning walk last May and i got lost somehow, i just followed the road and after passing through Tojaku high school i found myself in front of this park and boy did i get lucky ♥️ the weather was good too. This is within the Toyota Craft beer museum area so if you visit there check this place too....

軽い気持ちで訪ねてみた公園でしたが、こんなにすごい公園だとは思いませんでした。この広大な公園を私財を投げ打って作った前田栄次郎翁にまさしく感服です。様々な偉人軍人の記念碑（跡）があり、鉄や青銅で作られたであろう銅像や記念銘板が第二次大戦での金属供出で外されています。まさしく今に残る歴史の証人の如くの公園です。そして細道に沿って石仏が置かれ神秘的な容貌を呈しています。（東西の石仏散策コースがある。）石仏にも首が無いものなどもありこれも歴史の荒波を感じさせます。また、聖観音像に向かうまっすぐ伸びる階段も流麗。階段の左右にさらにいろいろな記念碑等が配置されており、まるでパノラマ島奇譚を彷彿させられる程です。不思議な空間であるのに、開放的で前田翁のきっぷの良さ気前の良さ鷹揚さを感じられて本当に何度で...
