It is a honor to stop by and visited this one of a kind temple where the Zen master Ryokan Taigu sama ( the Reverend Ryokan) had been stayed during his early returning back to his home town after long away. Deeply respected and put in our prayers for his legacy of life as mountain monk.

With its controversial wall paintings, a good place to visit or hike. The wall paintings are magnificent and impressive. Other buildings are interesting too. It is allowed close to the Yahiko shrine, you can make a nice day trip.
