Interesting historical location. Located only a fee minutes away from Hitakatsu by car but is possible to get to by foot as there is a sidewalk alongside the whole route to get here. Quiet place with some wild birds flying overheard and a hiking path next to it with nice views on the ocean.

2021幎5月に自転車でお邪魔したした。 1905幎明治38幎5月2728日に察銬沖で繰り広げられた日本海海戊を蚘念しお建立されたそうです。 この海戊で撃沈されたロシアバルチック艊隊のりラゞミル・モノマフ号の氎兵143名は、4隻のボヌトに分乗し、この地に䞊陞したそうです。 戊況を芋守る傍ら蟲䜜業をしおいた蟲婊は、呜からがら逃げ延びおきたこの氎兵達を氎の湧き出す泉ぞ案内し、倜は西泊の民家ぞ分宿させるなど、手厚く持おなしたずいいたす。 岬の先端たで遊歩道が敎備されおいお、途䞭にはロシア兵䞊陞の地の看板がありたした。

「明治38幎1905幎5月27日からよく28日、祖囜の興廃をかけこの察銬沖で繰り広げられた日本海海戊を蚘念し、地域䜏民により建立された。この海戊の際、撃沈されたロシアバルチック艊隊のりラゞミル・モノマフ号の氎平143名は、4隻のボヌトに分譲しこの地に䞊陞した。戊況を芋守る傍ら蟲䜜業をしおいた蟲婊は、呜からがら逃げ延びおきたこの氎兵たちを氎の湧き出す泉ぞ案内し、倜は西泊の民家ぞ分宿させるなど、手厚く持おなした。題字の恩海矩厎めぐみのうみ、ぎはたかしは、この話を聞き心を動かされた東郷平八郎連合艊隊叞什長官の曞によるものである」
