Mimuroto-ji Temple — Attraction in Uji

Mimuroto-ji and hydrangea garden - a beautiful temple and garden full of hydrangea. We were there at around 9:30 am and the garden was already filled with people. Loved the hydrangeas and various flowers here. Had to walk about 15-20 minutes uphill from the bus stop. We went in early July and the flowers were still very much in full bloom.
