A must do if you are in this part of Kyushu and visibility is good. Views over the sea and Shimabara are stunning. I guess you can see Nagasaki if the visibility is perfect. We did not have to wait to get into the cable car. It is a old school system but it works fine. it takes like 10 minutes to get to the top, where you can walk up to the observatory. You can also stay at the station level and enjoy the...

A great way to spend the day high up on a mountain. The ropeway provided an amazing view and there were several viewing platforms to see the surrounding mountains and forest from. The ride was quicker than I thought but still very enjoyable. If you want to hike down instead of riding the car back, it takes about 20-30 minutes. Highly recommend...

If you love nature and fantastic views, THIS IS FOR YOU! If you want a beautiful view without do a lot of work I would recommend taking the rail car up to the view of Mt Fugen and Mt Unzen. BUT if you don't mind a nice 1 hour 40 min hike to the top of Mt Fugen, I 110% recommend doing the hike. Bring water and good tennis shoes or...

登山の帰りに利用。 青々とした木々もキレイだけど、紅葉もさぞ美しいんだろうな。約3分間景色を堪能。仁田峠駅にはたくさんの観光客の方がいて、手を振ってくれていた。こちらも全力で手を振り応える。

If you love nature and fantastic views, THIS IS FOR YOU! If you want a beautiful view without do a lot of work I would recommend taking the rail car up to the view of Mt Fugen and Mt Unzen. BUT if you don't mind a nice 1 hour 40 min hike to the top of Mt Fugen, I 110% recommend doing the hike. Bring water and good tennis shoes or hiking boots.
