The periodic inflatable parks add an extra layer of fun for the little ones, ensuring they have plenty of activities to keep them entertained.
Convenience is key at Uken Beach, with a small shop right off the shore offering a variety of sweets and treats—perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun. The presence of public bathrooms and lifeguards on duty adds to the overall safety and comfort of the beach experience.
For those driving to the beach, there is a paid parking lot available, which is a small price to pay for the stunning views and amenities provided. Additionally, the gazebos equipped with benches and tables offer a great spot for picnicking or simply relaxing while enjoying the scenery.

Read moreWhen we moved here 3 years ago we first found out this beach was called ‘Trash Beach’. Sadly it is still true. There is a lot of trash that washes ashore, but also a lot left by the locals. This is busy weekend night life location for the locals and as such many sleep on the picnic tables and around, and leave a lot of trash and broken glass after their night of partying and racing their motorcycles up and down the road in front of the beach and leaving their firework debris all around, particularly out on the piers for the waves to eventually wash away.
