Yamato Yutori-no-Mori Park — Attraction in Yamato

*Fantastic park whether you go there alone or especially with a family. *

If you're driving from base, there are two parking spots on either side of the park that have a fee (~¥100) an hour.

The actual park is pretty large with multiple sections inside. There's areas for Tennis, baseball, kickball and a general area for things with wheels (skates, scooters, bikes).

Apart from that, there's several playgrounds, slides, and climbing equipment for children to climb on and find creative ways to get from one end to the other while balancing, jumping, and scaling.

In the summer time, there's "cooling areas" that spray a list mist to cool you down, similar to what you would see at an amusement park.

I'd your looking for something more low-key, there's significantly sized trails to walk on, large flat areas to have picnics on or run around in, and a long (shallow) creek for kids to jump over/ splash around in.

One of the biggest park in Kanagawa prefecture. Lot of play area for kids, & big space for the ground, tennis courts, football courts, chilling areas, & many more are there... There is a small man made stream I'd there.. Also it have multiple parking spaces.. This is Good for family outing. It have cherry blossom trees too.. You can relax with your renting summer.. Nice park to take all ages of children. There is separate areas for the smaller little ones and then a middle age section and then areas for the bigger kids to run. Plenty of area to set up a tent to have a picnic or blanket to hangout for the day. There is a drink machine area with ice cream and a small vending machine with snacks. There is also a bathroom located right beside the play area. Parking is a pay by the 60min parking right across the street. It's free for up to 30min and then 100¥...
