We wanted to see Fudoin Iwayado temple, hike in a forest and visit Wakasa Benten. It was not obvious to find lodging in the area and with the help of a Japanese friend we managed to get a reservation in a temple at nearby Tampi. Traveling there by the great small train (Imbi Line from Tottori) ! Worth the trip alone. The priest welcomed us and drove us next morning to our destinations. We enjoyed the walk, discovered that Wakasa has more than what one would expect arriving there and enjoyed yet another (short) ride on the train.
