Hoshigayama Park — Attraction in Yugawara

The Mount Hoshiga climb is a hidden and very steep climb just north of Yugawara and generally overlooked as it is very close to the very famous/popular Daikanzan climb. I saw a large building high on the mountain side just north of the Daikanzan climb and wondered - what is that climb like? The climb begins just off Route 135 and passes through a small housing estate with very narrow roads and poor road surface. Please take care in passing under the railway bridge as it is quite narrow. The climb from 2km-3.5km is the steepest prolonged section with gradients always greater than 11% and averages 15%. Once arriving at the parking lot for the nature park at 4.3km, the narrow poorly paved path continues to the summit. The views from the park over Sagami Bay are quite nice on clear days and the feeling of isolation at the summit - I have only encountered one other person during my visits - is quite strong. お正月、湯河原にある「星ヶ山公園「さつきの郷」」に行きました。義父、相方、義弟と4人で・・・

「星ヶ山公園」の山頂からは湯河原が一望できるのですが・・・当日は下から見上げると霧で覆われていて上に登っても何も見えないかも？と言いながらも車を走らせいざ「星ヶ山」へ・・・途中霧で前が見えないほどだったのですが、登ってみると上は青空！こんなこともあるんですね。雲の中に浮かぶ初島と大島。雲海を望むが如くなんだか「桃源郷」にいるような気分になりました。

実際には相模湾が見渡せ、神奈川、千葉までも見られる見晴らしの良い場所で、春にはサツキで満開になります。夜に行くのは怖いのですが、星が綺麗に見られること...

さつきの郷と一緒のレビューです。 さつきの時期に行くと壮観です。 それ以外はお客さんも少なく居心地は良いのですが友逢の鐘映えが無い(;^ω^) 空気が澄んだお天気の日には伊豆七島が結構見る事が出来ます。 友逢の鐘のそばにバイオトイレがありますが使った事無いので詳細はわかりません。 ベンチとかあったらお弁当持ってピクニックも楽しそう(#^.^#) 今年はコキアの実証実験をしていたみたいですが来年は成功すると良いですねぇ～(''◇'')ゞ 駐車場から星ヶ山展望台に向かう道はどのルートも狭くすれちがいが難しいところも沢山あるのでお気に入りの...
