The Shirasaki Observatory offers one of the best panoramic views of the entire Shirasaki Marine Park. From the top, you can see the dazzling white limestone cliffs meeting the deep blue sea—a truly stunning contrast that makes this spot worth the climb. The view is especially beautiful on a clear day when the ocean glows under the sunlight.

The walk up to the observatory is short and easy, with plenty of photo spots along the way. Once at the top, the calm sea breeze and the sound of waves create a relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. It’s a perfect place to take a break, enjoy the scenery, and reflect on the beauty of nature.

If you’re visiting Shirasaki Marine Park, don’t skip the observatory. It’s where you can fully appreciate why this area is often called “The Aegean...

Great park to stop and visit. Absolutely amazing views of the cliff-side, rocks and the ocean. It's very windy so bring a jacket. Parking is free. They have bathrooms and what appears to be a seating/eating area inside (we didn't check, but they might have food). We went on the weekend close to midday and it wasn't overly crowded. We spent about 45 min there. Part of the park is wheelchair accessible, but there is a stairway to more views that obviously isn't accessible...

very beautiful place to visit in summer, very colorful location for pictures with its view. it took 1.52hours in the road to visit from wakayama-city area, but it was worth than the getting tired, the beauty will eliminate those. also the road side scene with the sea, was soo amazing. highly recommended to visit there around morning hours like 79AM. parking was free with necessary things....
