Wonderful gem hidden in a green valley. As it was a rainy day decided to visit this working watermill, I'm so glad I did, what a lovely place. Renovated by the Nation Trust of Jersey, it gives a glimpse into the working life of a Miller, and the process of grinding grain into flour. The volunteers were friendly and helpful. I found it hard to find but it is on side of a main road by open mash land. 2 car parks... 1 small behind and 2nd larger further up road on right but a short walk required. Due to drought mill not working but still fascinating. Lots of small step Ladders to go up levels, top level has short video the hydro electric was good to see. Worth a visit if in the area. The National Trust refurbished it in the 70s after a fire, and they hold heritage milling days where freshly ground flour can be purchased.
