Wonderful gem hidden in a green valley. As it was a rainy day decided to visit this working watermill, I'm so glad I did, what a lovely place. Renovated by the Nation Trust of Jersey, it gives a glimpse into the working life of a Miller, and the process of grinding grain into flour. The volunteers were friendly and helpful. A guide gives you an understanding of the processes, and there's a tearoom for refreshments at the end, what more could you want!

Really interesting to see. I found it hard to find but it is on side of a main road by open mash land. 2 car parks... 1 small behind and 2nd larger further up road on right but a short walk required. Due to drought mill not working but still fascinating. Lots of small step Ladders to go up levels, top level has short video the hydro electric was good to see. Worth a visit if in the area. Note: UK NT members can present their card 🙂

Quaint and interesting. If you can't park in the little carpark close by, there is overflow parking further down the road and a walk back along the path/cycle path. It's easy to cycle to.

Jersey's only remaining working water mill, when there used to be 45. The National Trust refurbished it in the 70s after a fire, and they hold heritage milling days where freshly ground flour can be purchased. The woods behind the mill and adjacent cycle track are also a great place for a walk. The mill is only open certain days. Get in touch with National Trust Jersey. Dogs welcome and there is also a cafe...
