La Cueva Aqua Park — Attraction in Balqa

Beautiful place worth to visit!

The place is very suitable for family and kids and I highly recommend it for a day time , there are plenty of water games that suit adults and little kids and the atmosphere is lovely. The kids games and pool are very safe but require supervision, always pay attention and accompay your kids in the water. The artificial river require lifeguards supervision since the current can be strong and it would flip your balloon boat and for none swimmers it might be hazardous. The place was clean enough and the water as well. I was able to walk with barefoot all over the park, also the materials used for the floors are anti slip, so you it gives you more comfort and safety. The time we were there was not so crowded so the cleanliness was so satisfactory but could not find towels station although life jackets were available. There is a food court however I would rate the food quality as satisfactory it's just fine, also the pools are not heated therefore in spring like whether might be difficult for kids to tolerate the cold. Also the customer service for some staff should be improved so the guests feel more welcomed. The place opens from mid of the day till 19:00 pm. Kids under 3 years are free of charge, but the adults voucher would include one lunch from your selection from the available...

For the quality, i guess it's over priced. I'm comparing it with all the water parks i've been to, including the one in Aqaba. Chairs and sunbeds are really cheap quality, i felt I'm in a downtown cafe. No Supervision in the kids pool: kids were climbing the pool the opposite way, which is dangerous. Waves pool plays once every 2 hours, which is a lot of time comparing to other water parks. Slides: have something wrong, either quality or the slope angle, my kids were pushing themselves to move forward on the slides which you don't use a tube for, & they told me it depends on what you're wearing (i guess all people wear the same thing, swimming shorts!! ) The River floor is too slippery, i pulled a kid from inside the water, he was tiered from swimming, but couldn't stand from the slippery floor with the help of the water flow. River stairs have sharp edges, i slipt on the stairs and my leg started bleeding. Cafeteria: too many people vs small staff, not organized, and the floor is slippery when water is on it, and i saw a lady slipping on her back on the 2 steps which are right behind the cash (wrong design)

My mother and her sister recently visited this aqua park and unfortunately had a very unpleasant and unsafe experience. They decided to try one of the water rides but immediately noticed that the tube they were given was missing one of the side handles, making it unsafe to hold on properly. They informed the lifeguard/operator, but he dismissed their concerns and insisted it was not an issue, then pushed them onto the ride regardless.

As a result, both of them fell off the tube, hitting their heads, shoulders, and chest. When they spoke to the manager, they explained what had happened and that they had warned the operator in advance, but the manager also downplayed the issue and showed no sense of responsibility.

Later that day, my aunt began having difficulty breathing. We took her to the hospital and after an X-ray, we discovered she had a fractured rib.

I am deeply disappointed with the lack of safety measures and the unprofessional handling of this incident. This park should take customer safety seriously and train its staff properly to prevent such accidents and to respond responsibly when...
