📌Save this post for your next trip to Jordan🇯🇴 One of the highlights of my trip was visiting these hot springs. We stayed at @mainhotspringsresort however, you do not need to stay in hotel in order to see the hotel springs, there are areas which are open to the public.🌊🏝 The water in the pool is directly from the springs. The temperature is around 35-40 degrees. The best thermal bath😍 Getting here was not easy! We took an Uber from Amman which was around 30 JOD, but we had to stop on the way, as the car broke down😭. The springs are located at a very high altitude and there were numerous of steep hills. Thankfully, we flagged down a taxi and two lovely gentlemen came to help👨🔧. 🚨But just picture that, car broken down, in the middle of the road, 41 degree weather, no water, and no service. Thank God, there’s still kind people on this earth🌍 We made it in the end. And, it was definitely worth it. If you do decide to go, make sure the car you’re driving is equip🏎 #hotsprings #mustdotravels #jordania #visitjordan🇯🇴 #wadimujib #traveltiktok

The best times to visit Jordan are in Spring (March-May) or Autumn (September-November). During these months it’s mostly sunny and between 20-28ºC/68°F-82°F. Outside of these months and it is absolutely SCORCHING. With plenty of exploring to do, you’ll want to plan your trip for the slightly cooler months. How long to stay in Jordan? 5-7 days is the ideal amount of time to see the best that Jordan has to offer. I recommend dedicating at least two full days for visiting Petra. 2 days in the Wadi Rum, 1 day in Aqaba, 1 day in the Dead Sea and 1 day in Amman. Want more recommendations? Ma'in Hot Springs, is a beautiful destination to choose for a honeymoon, or renewing your vows, a special vacation or celebration get-away. The road is a bit tricky, so go slowly and travel during the day. Enjoy the drive to Ma'in, it's beautifully situated in the Dead Sea area. The staff are extremely friendly and have been trained to recognize guests from day one and make you feel at home. The management of this hotel are very pleasant, and were by our side within seconds when we had a minor accident, they kept coming and going ensuring we are ok, and we had to convince them that there is no need for medical attention. But they were great, their kindness and care was very professional and compassionate. I recommend going to Ma'in during months which are not too hot, but also not cold, so you can enjoy the outdoors. But also not too hot, to enjoy the rest of the places in the Dead Sea area. If you are a shishah person, they make the best shishah out on the big terrace off the main restaurant. They do serve Zarb but there are special times for that, so if you are in the mood to eat it, please make sure to inquire about it. Also, due to its location being 260 meters below sea level makes internet reception and telephone coverage a bit tricky, which is fine, that is the purpose of a get-away or a honeymoon, you need to be away from the entire world and just relax. their breakfast buffet has so many options, I suggest you take advantage of it, but also take advantage of all their buffets, everything they serve is extremely delicious and the view while enjoying your meal is ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!!! I not only recommend this resort, I'm telling you, if you don't visit you would have missed a lot, this place should be on your bucket list, but listed several times.

Beautiful hot springs. I don’t understand how people can go in the pools which are hot in the hot weather :) entry fee was 15 JOD The Ma'in Hot Springs (Arabic: حمامات ماعين) also known as Hammamat Ma'in are a series of hot mineral springs and waterfalls located between Madaba and the Dead Sea in Madaba Governorate, Jordan.[1] Location The Ma'in Hot Springs are located 74 km (64 miles) south of Amman in Madaba Governorate and is 27 km away from Madaba. They are located 264 meters (866 feet) below sea level. The region contains a total of 63 springs at different temperatures but similar chemical composition, containing chemical elements and compounds such as sodium, calcium, chloride, radon, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon dioxide. Temperatures in some springs reach 63 degrees Celsius.[2] Medical tourism The Ma'in hot springs are considered a medical tourism destination, with visitors seeking treatment for chronic physical ailments such as skin and circulatory diseases, and bone, joint, back and muscular pains. In addition to immersing the body in the springs, foot baths and steam treatments are available. Many come in the winter, due to the region's warm climate.
