KAGINELE PARK located in KAGINELE village, 2 kms from Kanakadasar temple. After COVID 19 there is no maintenance of park. Everywhere dry grass, no flowers, no toilets maintained. I loved this park in 2017 where full of green, flowers clean toilet etc but lack of maintenance and again its proved government failed to maintain the park after party changes. This was developed under Siddaramaiah Congress Government in 2016 and now recently I was shocked to see the park status. This is developed a Butterfly Park on 2 acres, identified over 60 species and five families of local and migratory butterflies earlier but due to lack of maintenance there are no butterflies. They charge 20 rs entrance ticket for adults, 10 rs children ticket. They charge camera 500 rs for photo shoot.

Very big park. But neglected by development authority. No proper sign boards to visit the different places within the park. It's difficult to walk inside the park during sunny days. It's a 400 acres park and really big. So walking here during sunny day with out proper sign boards is difficult. There is a musical fountain show in the evening. But this is not created with latest technology..same old songs and one or 2 new songs. The fountain doesn't match with the music. Over all nice place but you don't have greater facilities here. No food canteens, snacks center. Washrooms are good. Mineral water facility is there.

The place is nice to visit with a family. This is the place where kanakadas did most of his work and spent his last days. The place has options for kids recreation. It has a play ground. Best time to visit this is during evening around 5. You can enjoy the park. And also see the musical fountain show during the late evening. This is only during weekends. But during special days, this is operative. There is an entry fee to the park and the fountain show.

The 4 star rating is mostly because of the light and sound show that happens every Sunday (I am not sure about Saturdays). The garden too is very pleasant, beautiful and well maintained. The garden is a tribute to the great poet of kannada literature kanakadasa. There is an entry ticket for the garden and an extra ticket for the light and sound show.

Fantastic place. A full day is required to cover this vast place. Visitors must bring food from their homes as the canteen inside the premises is hopeless and very much dirty. Children will enjoy a lot here. Entry fees per adult is rs 20 and rs 10 per child.

Theme Park based on Kanakadas Life Events. Its located in the place where he did most of the work and was there in his last days of life. We get to see few of his famous life events in sculptures. Well maintained garden and play area for children.
