We recently had the privilege of experiencing a breathtaking tour of Kolsay Lake, Charyn Canyon, and Kaindy Lake, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Our tour guide, Bek, made the entire journey truly exceptional.
From the start, Bek's professionalism and knowledge stood out. He provided insightful details about the history, geography, and culture of each location, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. His passion for the region was infectious, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience.
Kolsay Lake left us speechless with its serene beauty, surrounded by lush forests and snow-capped peaks. The peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect spot for relaxation and photography.
Charyn Canyon was equally awe-inspiring, with its dramatic landscapes and unique rock formations. Bek guided us through the best trails, pointing out hidden gems we would have missed otherwise. His storytelling added a magical touch, bringing the canyon’s history to life.
Kaindy Lake was the highlight of the trip. The submerged forest beneath the turquoise waters created an otherworldly scene that was simply unforgettable. Bek's expertise helped us capture the perfect photos and appreciate the lake’s natural wonder.
Throughout the tour, Bek was attentive to every detail, ensuring our comfort and safety. His friendly demeanor made us feel like we were traveling with a close friend rather than a guide.
This tour was an unforgettable adventure, and we owe much of it to Bek’s exceptional guidance. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore the stunning beauty of Kazakhstan. Thank you, Bek, for making this trip a memory we will...
Read moreIt was a wonderful experience. The snow covered canyon, the frozen lakes. Simply mind blowing. We went as a couple, the mini van picked us up from our Airbnb, first stop was a gas station, then we reached Charyn canyon. we explored the canyon on foot, even climbed the mountain to return. The made a small pit stop at Black canyon. After that it was Kaindy lake, we were transferred to another vehicle, which doesn't have seat belts or anything to hold on to. so keep that in mind as the ride is bumpy, but trust me, it is absolutely worth it. Upon reaching the final stop, you can either hike (30 mins) to the lake or take a horse (20 mins). We took a horse and reached the lake. it was absolutely breathtaking. The entire lake was frozen and were walking on the frozen lake. After spending approximately 25-30 mins, we came back and then went to a guest house for lunch. The food was delicious, we were spoilt for choices, lavish spread and the portions were also decent. last destination was Kolsai lake. That place was very cold, the lake was frozen but it looked beautiful as the lake was covered from mountains from all sides. The tour company dropped us at night at our AirBnB. Over all it was a very good experience, the tour guide Bek, a young boy, knew his stuff and could easily converse in English, made the trip enjoyable. Thank you Bek and everyone who we did not meet but are a part of the...
Read moreI would surely recommend this company. The price was super honest, and the tour I had (Charyn canyon. Black canyon, Kaindy lake and Kolsay lake in one day) was so well organized: the schedule was always respected timewise. One aspect included in the program that I really enjoyed, giving more authenticity to the experience itself, was that we were able to have lunch with a Kazakh family right close to Kaindy lake: the food was so good and thanks to this experience the overall of the trip itself was even better than the excursions only.
Amina, our guide was so experienced. She gave us some insights on the places we visited, as well as other comments during the long van trip on the places we were crossing, giving us really interesting insights on Kazakh history, culture and tradition, like for instance when we crossed some Uyghur communities on our way. Her English is proficient, as if it is her mother tongue, I was really impressed by that and her smartness.
I really think that having a guide this young can also add an extra touch to the experience, as all along the trip she was sharing some pop music from Kazakhstan that I Was really interested in hearing; my playlist now has them as well.
A final note for the professional driver and to the van itself, which was so comfortable.
Thank you Kazakhstan Very Nice and Amina! Hoe to come back soon and have an other guided tour...
