I had always wanted to visit this fall, especially after my trip to Chepkiit falls (Mlango falls), because it always looked better on pictures.

Three years later and I did finally visit the Koromosho Waterfalls.

My experience was generally awesome๐Ÿ‘ as I did enjoy the fall and the trip there.

I used personal means to get there from Eldoret town, which was a smooth drive, no issues. I used the Rivatex-Ndalat route and diverted at Kipkenyo center taking the overpass often used by lorries, and continuing on my right for about 4 km before meeting the infamous river Sossiani. Cross the river and take the first left, and the murram road takes you straight to the entrance.

Using public means, I have no clue how to get there tbh ๐Ÿ’€

The gate man charged KES 50 per person and everyone seemed to be cooperative. The fall was satisfying, and I met a few good people there as well.

The place is slippery, especially when wet ๐Ÿคญ so be prepared, if necessary with a change of clothes.

It's important to mention that it's all open air, and there are no guard rails or any barricades so practice caution! Also, no hotels or watering holes ๐Ÿ˜ so carry your own snacks and food... Or whatever! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿฟ

Overall, an experience I will surely try and...

Koromosho Falls is a beautiful waterfall located about 20 kilometers west of Eldoret, Kenya. It is situated on the River Sosiani, and is surrounded by lush green hills and forests. The falls are about 30 meters high, and plunge into a deep pool below. Koromosho Falls in Eldoret, KenyaOpens in a new window www.tripadvisor.ca Koromosho Falls in Eldoret, Kenya

The falls are a popular tourist destination, and are a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Kenya. There are a few trails that lead to the falls, and the hike is relatively easy. Once you reach the falls, you can take in the stunning views and enjoy the refreshing mist.

There are a few things to keep in mind if you are planning to visit Koromosho Falls. First, the falls are best visited during the rainy season, when the water is flowing more strongly. Second, be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the trails can be slippery. Third, be respectful of the environment and do not litter.

Overall, Koromosho Falls is a beautiful and refreshing place to visit. It is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the natural...

The falls were recommended to us by our airbnb. We took an Uber from Eldoret and paid a reasonable price. Once we arrived at the gate we were let in and told where to start. After that we were left alone to explore. We spent about 3h there. It was more than we had bargained for! You can walk and climb all around the rocks and even behind the waterfall! At the end we paid 200 Kes for the entrance. Tipp! Make your Uber driver wait for you to take you back to town because we didnโ€™t find any on our way back! We took a motorcycle to a gas station and from there we took a matatu to town. Tipp! Make sure to bring good hiking shoes and maybe some extra clothing in case you get...

Loved the Caves beneath the waterfall... The place is exclusive and has a big space for activities.. You can have activities while listening to the soothing sound of the river or the rumbles of the gushing waterfall. If you are planning to visit the cave, please make sure you have shoes that have a grip because it's super slippery down there.. Also the path to the Caves is Rocky, and it gives that hiking feeling.

I used public means so I boarded eldoline Matatus at ola gas station near khetia's eldoret. 30 minute drive to kipkenyo then a bike to the koromosho Falls gate. It's a serene environment , all you hear and see is nature, and breath-taking waterfall. There's lots of pollution from the visitors , especially snack wrappings. No shops around and it's an extremely short hike.
