Part of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and located just about 58km from Nairobi, the hills present an ecosystem that presents a touristic attraction. Located to the north west side of Nairobi city, the hills lie between the Nairobi - Naivasha highway through Mahi Mahiu and astride the Nairobi - Nakuru highway on the upper side extending into the Kereita forest. The hill rises to an altitude of 2688m above sea level, thus turning foggy during the cold season between June and August. Temperatures drop to a low of 7°C. Several tourist attractions are in there and is a perfect outdoor activities location for the nature lovers. Highly recommended...
