An Unforgettable Honeymoon Experience at Loldia House
My wife Tiffany and I recently stayed at Loldia House for two nights as part of our honeymoon, and it was truly a magical experience. Nestled by the stunning Lake Naivasha, Loldia House far exceeded our expectations and created memories that we will cherish forever.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine smiles and warmth that immediately made us feel at home. The staff’s exceptional service went beyond anything we’ve experienced, even at some of the world’s top hotels like St. Regis and Four Seasons. The care and attention to detail were astonishing, reflecting a level of hospitality that came straight from the heart, not just from company protocols.
The food was another highlight of our stay. With a diverse menu and generous portions, every meal was a delight. We particularly enjoyed the steak and risotto, which were absolutely superb. Breakfasts were so plentiful that we found ourselves struggling to finish!
Our room—if you can even call it just a room—was beautifully decorated and incredibly spacious. We were in awe when we walked in; it felt like our own private house, complete with a lovely outdoor area.
The game drives and boat ride were the perfect way to explore Lake Naivasha and Nakuru. The views were breathtaking, and witnessing so many animals in their natural habitat was an unforgettable experience.
Among the 30+ countries we’ve visited, Loldia House stands out as one of the best accommodations we’ve ever had. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon so special. We hope you’re all doing well and wish you continued success.

Read moreWe stayed for several nights here as one of 4 stops on our Kenyan safari, and what an amazing break we had here. Our guide Sammy (Samuel) was so keen to ensure we had the best experiences, and was clearly very knowledgable about the area and the wildlife. We went on a night drive, which was incredible, seeing all the wildlife (including the hippos) at night was quite something. We also requested to visit a local flower farm, and this was accommodated for us with absolutely no issues. it was fascinating seeing what happens, and let us see the complex process of growing and farming roses and the whole process of getting them to the wholesalers and the markets in Holland. New respect for shop bought flowers! Sammy suggested we visit Crescent Island in lake Naivasha, and we got to walk around with gazelles and giraffes! Quite a remarkable experience. Early morning boat trip available at no cost to go around a part of the lake and watch sea eagles dive for the fish!! |At Loldia our waiter, Simon, was incredibly attentive and handled all our requests with a smile. Thank you Simon!! |We stayed in one of the semi-detached bungalows, overlooking the lake, and the room was perfect. Netting round bed (no mossies, only lake flies); huge bathroom (separate bath and shower); and hot water bottles placed in bed at turn down. Great linens and comfortable bed, Monkeys (vervet) all over the grounds, and made for great entertainment throughout the day. Hippos wandering past your room in the early morning light was quite a sight. (Electric fence between you and the hippos!!!) |Well run establishment, lots of wildlife opportunities, great food, great service. Loved it here. Highly...
Read moreWe visited Loldia House in November for our Honeymoon, it is a magical place. We were welcomed warmly by Constance, Sam, Charles and team and offered a refreshing towel, juice and a coffee whilst we discussed our itinerary for our stay. We were showed to our room which was gorgeous, so spacious and peaceful overlooking the lake. We took some time to relax and enjoy the infinity pool and following that Charles served us a gorgeous lunch Al Fresco. Big shout out to the Chef- the food was wonderful. Our guide Samuel was incredible, he didn’t stop at teaching us about the typical Safari animals, we learnt so much about the plants and trees and their medicinal properties, insects and birds, we were in the hands of an expert but he was funny and friendly as an added bonus. We really enjoyed our day trip to Nakuru with him and the night drive at Loldia was an amazing experience. Thank you Samuel , we really appreciate everything you did for us. We want to acknowledge the amazing Charles, he took such good care of us and even set us a special table as we were celebrating our honeymoon- we miss you Charles and hope you know how much of a wonderful person you are. |All the staff at Loldia were so kind and warm, we found a hot water bottle in our beds each night, and a little treat on our pillows, the guards that lead you back to your room would light the lake so you could see Hippos at night and the other staff offer us wine to enjoy in our room in the evening. The Boat trip on the Lake is not to be missed. Thank you so much Loldia Team, you know somewhere is incredible when you have tears in your eyes at the airstrip. We hope we get to experience the magic...
