Diani Beach: Diani Beach is often considered one of the most picturesque and popular beaches in Mombasa. It boasts soft, white sands and crystal-clear waters, making it ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The beach is also known for its water sports, including kite surfing and snorkeling. Nyali Beach: Nyali Beach is another well-known beach in Mombasa, located in the Nyali suburb. It offers a relaxed atmosphere, and its proximity to hotels and resorts makes it a convenient choice for tourists. You’ll find water sports, beachfront restaurants, and bars along Nyali Beach. Bamburi Beach: Bamburi Beach is situated to the north of Mombasa and is famous for its lively atmosphere. It’s a great place for beach volleyball, camel rides, and various water activities. The nearby Haller Park, a nature reserve, is a popular attraction. Tiwi Beach: Tiwi Beach is a more secluded option for those seeking tranquility. It’s located further south of Diani Beach and is known for its peaceful surroundings and lush coastal vegetation. Tiwi Beach is a haven for relaxation and is less crowded compared to some other beaches. Kikambala Beach: Kikambala Beach is located north of Mombasa and is known for its long stretches of sandy coastline. It’s relatively less developed than some other beaches, making it a good spot for a peaceful getaway. Local Culture: Mombasa is rich in Swahili culture, and its coastal heritage is reflected in its cuisine, music, and festivals. Visitors can explore the Old Town in Mombasa, known for its historic architecture, markets, and cultural experiences. Accessibility: Mombasa is well-connected to Nairobi and other major cities in Kenya. Moi International Airport serves as the main gateway for international and domestic flights to the region. Accommodation: Mombasa offers a wide range of accommodation options, from luxury resorts to budget-friendly hotels and guesthouses. Many of these establishments are situated near the beaches for easy access. Security: While Mombasa’s beach areas are generally safe for tourists, it’s always a good practice to take standard precautions, such as securing your belongings and being aware of your...

Just visited Mombasa Beach, and it was absolutely stunning! The soft, golden sands, the crystal-clear turquoise waters, and the gentle ocean breeze made it a paradise experience. The sunsets were breathtaking, painting the sky with the most vibrant colors. The beach vibe was lively yet relaxing, and the local food and culture added so much charm to my visit. Mombasa Beach is truly a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a slice of...

Beautiful scenery, white sandy beaches with loads of fresh air. They have different swahili cuisines in the surrounding restaurants and local drinks, eg madafu. Most of the people around the beach are helpful and friendly, but be mindful of where you leave your luggage. I had a wonderful time at the beach and ate at Mombasa Beach Hotel. Their servers were very nice and attentive. Their food was well made and full of flavours.

Pro - most fun I’ve had in Kenya. Great people, beautiful beach, good food. Lots to do. - Jet skiing was awesome. - visit Yul’s restaurant. Ask for Ayoba. - Fort Jesus & Old town Mombasa! Cons - Uber is more expensive here. Driver demands more. Power outages.
