White Stone Beach Resort — Attraction in Rusinga Island ward

At the edge of Rusinga island🏝 with an amazing view of the lake and the close by islands. The beach has black sand but it’s very clean, clear and safe to swim. I’ve always known that the best sunrises are in Mombasa and sunsets are breathtaking along the lake and this place just confirmed it to me. Well, the best thing about this place was the lake and the staff. The staff were very kind and helpful. The biggest let down were the rooms, they are not bad but they are equally not great. The place is infested with ants🐜. I don’t really mind them but they are very annoying, especially at the restaurant when you leave your food for a while and in the rooms. Good thing is that the staff were always there to help us get rid of them. There’s a very tiny pier that’s very well decorated and the beds by the beach were some of the things that made this place amazing. The food was also not bad, had fish 🐟 and it was good. I went for a much needed break and I got more then that from a most humble ,polite Mr Barrack and his team.They tend to your request so efficiently and warmly ,you feel well taken care off.The place itself is so serene with great water views ,bonfire at night ,the atmosphere enables you to calm and relax. Rooms were spacious,net,fan available,food is fresh.They also organised a tour with there boat round the island and made sure our drinks were chilled and available with a great tour/ driver.||||Honestly the worst worst part of the trip was leaving ,in 2 days we had bonded with the place and the staff do there thing without getting in your way so you feel like it's your very own private retreat. Our 1 night turned to 2 and was going to be 3 if duty didnt call.||Yes,it calls for a...
