One of the most prestigious Golf courses in Kenya. Sigona Golf and Country Club boasts an 18-hole, country-style golf course with some of the most beautiful fairways in Kenya. The Layout of the course is simply breathtaking, with lush fairways and impeccable greens. One can love the place as it is amazing. Sigona is located in Kikuyu, along the Nairobi-Naivasha highway, Sigona Golf Club combines luxury, exceptional service and the ultimate golfing experience. Designed by Tom Simpson in 1938 the course lies near the Rift Valley, some 6,600 feet above sea level, just a twenty minutes drive from Nairobi offering a serene atmosphere amidst beautiful flower bushes and scenic greenery. Wedding couples choose Sigona Golf Club for their wedding photoshoot and also some stay at the golf suites for the first day of their honeymoon. The golf course is so beautiful the wedding photos comes out really nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very close to untouched nature. Peace and tranquility absorbs you as you enjoy your game. The best, most serene golf course around Nairobi. Watch friends play golf here. The rates at the club house are also very affordable on food and drinks.

I loved their golf clinic. I've been to a lot of golf ⛳️ courses. You probably wonder why? I'm just a clueless bird 🐦 that hops from tree to 🌳 looking for a branch to perch and nest 🪹. Well, I love trying different delicacies and upsetting my gut and trust me there're no better place to do so than these golf clubs. Each golf club has it's own taste of richness as far as food is concerned. Leave the lawns alone unless you're in some ghetto club, lawns at golf ⛳️ clubs are always meticulous and immaculate. I loved the nyama choma here. On the day I visited the menu was majorly Indian and Trust me if you got no tolerance for hot food keep off the soups and those stuff you don't know. You'll always be safe with nyama choma and fries 🍟. Their mocktail wasn't bad either just lots of syrup that had so much sugar, if you ain't a sweet tooth it might not sit well. I enjoyed my stay and my trial and that's all that matters 😌. Create magic everywhere you are ⭐️💫✨️

Been here a couple of times. The place is easy to get to by car, public transport and even on foot from Kikuyu. They have rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a pool area and of course a golf course. The food is good, freshly made. The wait time can be quite long so it's best to call in and make an order before you arrive. I especially like their tea scones and sandwiches. Their sautéed potatoes are also good as well as the wings. Their coffee on the other hand is awful(my opinion) and their dawa is not for the faint hearted though I like it. They have a no kids in the restaurant policy after eight so be mindful of this. It can get quite chilly in the evenings, so always bring a sweater. A nice place to meet up as well. It is a members only but so are other golf courses. Never used their rooms cause I've never had to, but would like to.

Am not a member, but I happen to attend a seminar at this facility in the heart of Kikuyu Land. And I mean the heart of Kikuyu land in every aspect of Kikuyu.

Let's talk about the food and the serving process.

Approximately, we were about 60 students. The 10 o'clock breakfast took us 1.5hrs to serve due to the setup and also the run outs that were holding the queue. The runouts... why! At least they tried with the variety on the Menu.

Come lunchtime, waah. The last time I saw waru, carrots and minji with a lot of soup being served was when I was in my grandma house and during Christmas. At least chapos were available with this combination. Here, this combination was served with rice... rice.. ooh no. The run outs were also repeated severally. And the limitation of how many pieces of fried chicken you can serve was implemented.

Well, the membership fee for joining this club is around ksh. 655,000. Yes Ksh.655,000. These greens...
