Really enjoyed driving around in this park! They gave us map that was very correctly marked and getting around without a guide was super easy even for a first time map reader like myself. It sucks though that you have to go all tbr way up to Lion's Bluff to pay for camping and to get the map. The drive up is on all levels offroad and very very rocky! Cheetah Campsite was super super amazing and would recommend it again and again! It's like on the edge and the view especially in the evening is amazing!! The kitchen has running water and is kept clean. No hot shower but if you shower anytime past 7am you should be even more refreshed because of how hot the place gets. Hope to be back during a more wet season. Many watering holes showed presence but were dry when we visited. Thus the animals were spread out further.

We had a volunteering experience here. How can I describe those 4 days? It was absolutely AMAZING, really. All the rangers and the chef took care of us in the kindest way, and you could see that they're super passionate about their job, wildlife, and how to develop the Conservancy. Their enthusiasm was contagious, I truly recommend the volunteering experience to everyone is willing to spend some days in an immersive nature, also because the price is quite affordable, compared to other conservancies. Also, the sights of elephants with the Taita Hills on the background was just mesmerizing. You can find more information about volunteering in their official website. We were sad to have been able to spend there only four days, thank you Dennis, Denson and everyone who took care of this, we won't forget it!

No tourists but very nice hidden pearl. Except the thinks (which are coming soon) you can spot the big five. Go with your own car and how a ranger as guide out contact them in advance for a tour. There are not much tourists and it's a small area so you get very nice pics. We really enjoyed our trip there! Don't go with Google maps... Follow the highway until you see the sign "Lions bluff" and follow that road!

We spent a week volunteering at Lumo. It was beautiful. Wonderful land and wildlife. Rangers and staff was great. Yes, expect very basic when you plan but some great time and learning. You give some and take a lot. Loads of backend problems but that is understandable. Overcompensated by some amazing wildlife. Some magical evening patrols. Tastiest food. If I happen to travel to Kenya again, will...
