A few kilometers from Bondo town off the Bondo Usenge road and could probably be accessed with a motorbike from the turn off. The maoleum itself is located in the former homestead of the late opposition politician. There are brick houses of his wives and the masoleum is in the middle of the homestead. There are portraits of Mr. Odinga and a lion sculpture on the exact spot he is buried at. There is a museum with personal belongings of Odinga and can be accessed for fee. There is no fee to access the homestead however. Its a beautiful compound with plenty of trees and a very peaceful and tranquil place. There are still folk who live in the homestead.
