Enjoyable to visit amongst the best restaurants in Bungoma. Buteyo Miti Park, established in 1969 by Mr. G. Wafula Buteyo, is a 32-acre nature reserve located in Bungoma County, Kenya. "Miti" stands for Measures for Indigenous Tree Improvement, highlighting the park's focus on conserving indigenous tree species. The park boasts a diverse collection of indigenous trees, some over 100 years old, and serves as a vital habitat for various animals. While specific animal lists may vary, visitors can potentially encounter monkeys, various bird species, and reptiles. Buteyo Miti Park operates independently but maintains a relationship with the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) through conservation efforts and adherence to wildlife management guidelines. The park's commitment to preserving indigenous trees and providing a natural habitat aligns with KWS's broader conservation goals in Kenya.

I don’t know if Kenyan people pay the same money then Germany people in Germany but German people in Kenya have to pay like for 20 or 25 times more than the people from here. Actually it’s only white people . Because black people are not even asked for their ID . Sad. Empty no guests and I left without seeing the only lion

It is a nice place for nature. The place is a locally owned park with indigenous trees in bukusu land resting on about 32 acres of land. It has a tree nursery for indigenous trees, and a herbalist section where diagnosis and treatment of some of the most chronic ailments that are resistant to Western medicine are treated. They also have a hotel and accommodation facilities that provide nature like and traditional bukusu people homelike environment. The place is good for entire family to visit, education visits, researchers...
