Amezing experience to see this dam with brindavan garden,it is a model for upcoming engineering people and it was built by 4th sir.M.V under guidence of krishnaraj odeyar in 1913. It built across cauvery river.this dam measures 128.58 feet height and 2000m long.major purpose of this dam is supply water for agriculture lands

Beautiful place but be ready to walk a lot of steps . You get snacks & stuff around They used to allow tourist over the dam wall but not anymore. It's usually crowded during weekend. I wish they had battery car service for old people to go to the top .

Let me tell you,,,, ₹50 ticket wasn't even worth to see this ₹5 would be best price,,,,, no maintenance,, no clean places,,, broken lamps, broken tap water,, algae filled ponds worst experience ever!!!!
