Fintas Park — Attraction in Ahmadi

Fun to walk through this Fintas park in the morning hours. I used to go there for bird photography and kid to play. This park has lot of big trees in the park feel relax being under these trees. Abundance of parking slots and also coffee shop is available. There are sports courts and good children playing area.I've spotted the place on my drives back home and promised myself that I'm going there soon. Despite the nice surprise of having a Starbucks, the disappointment of the missing lighting was huge!!! How come a park like this doesn't have a night lighting?? What could have been a nice and pleasant walk, became a haunted walk!!!Lovely public park, full of all ages! It has a nice walking path and has a good play area for children.A nice park im fintas area, park has good parking space, there are a few children rides and playground available. Pros: great location: close to the Coop., the beach, Eqaila beach resort, Fintas biking trail/basketball courts but shaded enough to feel secluded. Lots of trees!

well-equipped for a public park: facilities include a tennis/football court, BBQ tables, kids' playground, minimal gym equipment, a mini amphitheater? What I assume to be concrete skating/rollerblading areas, WCs and drinking fountains. Also used to have a McDonald's that just recently closed down for business so I'm not sure what they'll replace it with...probably a juicebar or sth?

you'll be swamped by a myriad of friendly neighborhood cats. Don't know about you but that's a pro for me!

Cons: tiny: if you were to jog along the outermost trail I don't think it'd be even half a mile or 800meters. Gets repetitive especially on a bike. So you may want to bike along the longer coast trail across the road (and a little north, next to the um, cemetery, where the party's at.)

shares a wall with a gas station: if you're uncomfortable with the (very slight to negligible) smell of gas or whatever hazard you may not like it....

The park has a soccer field, and a playground for young children. It is conveniently located near the Fintas Cooperative, which is about 3 to 4 blocks away. A gas station is conveniently located on the east side of the park. The is also a coffee shop located inside the park. The park has a large parking lot @ the entrance to the park...
