I had a great experience. The artist built this from the ground up. He is simply said, 'talented". You will empty your mind at the door. Below the donation box it says 'the world can live without weapons but cannot live without women'. Being a humanist this really hit home. In my mind, I was repeating this as i sat down and the artist explained his manifesto (writings placed all over the many rooms of the museum. Use google translator as it is in Russian. After clearing my mind I viewed the collection for over an hour. I lost track of time. I am writing this 3 weeks later and i am still impressed! Some inspirations are Gaudi, Dali, Chagall. One visit does not due the artist justice. I would like to visit many times again if I lived here. ❀️ Weekend only. I would call ahead, its far but... directly behind the entrance id a hill with killer views so if you miss him you...

What an inspiring place for art lovers and artists alike. It's rather a huge gallery and living house than a museum, much more interactive and experimental. Alexej, the artist, welcomes you warmly after you rang the bell. Usually, it only opens on Sundays but he'd invite us anyway. He takes you around his house and gallery, packed with impressive paintings and collages that are concerned with the great emptiness, how he calls it. You may address it as unity or love. He speaks a bit of English which is great and gave us more understanding of his motivation to do his art. Thank You, Spasiba for this wonderful experience. Please leave a donation (cat food or oil paint are also welcomed :-))before entering, there's like a letter box at the entrance. BTW he all built the house and...

A very unique gallery located on the outskirts of Bishkek City, Kyrgyzstan. This gallery serves as the place for habitat for its creator, the painter Alexey Skreplyov, who surrounded his living space with his works of art - strange, surreal and fantastic paintings.

Alexey is also somewhat of a mystic and numerologist. He can create you a painting based on your Zodiac sign, incorporating symbols of world's cultures and religions.

The place has a special vibe to it, which is difficult to put into words, like you are going a bit insane, and feeling sad, happy, awestruck at the same time. Like you are having flashbacks from certain psychedelic trips.. you know what I mean ;) - highly...

One might think that building a labyrinth-like house with several levels by oneself is an impressive feat already. But this gets easily blown out of the water by the sheer power of the artist's painting skills. One is confronted with dozens of beautiful paintings, spanning probably hundreds of dreams that made him paint them. The colorschemes, the way people are painted, the themes are nothing less than mind blowing. You could think that "Great Emptiness" is in conflict with such an amount of art. But free yourself of expectations and thought when viewing the paintings, make yourself empty and let their individual meaning fall into place in your heart and mind.
