The approximately 2.5 km long lake with SSE-NNW orientation has an area of 1.22 km² and is located at an altitude of 2970 m.

We choose here rather then the famous Song Kul, and we love it! You could take a easy day hike to reach the lake. Be prepared there's a river about knees high to cross and the water is freezing cold. There are three Yarts (Ususally, double check in the village) there around the lake. Amazingly tranquil. We had a wonderful time with the family. They still live in an old nomadic way, moving here every summer time. Making yogurt and cream from fresh milk.

maybe just take a taxi/hitchhike to the first lake (which is also very beautiful) because the hike up there is a big gravel road and not too nice, but then go for the second more little lake which is very stunning

Great place with 5 big lakes and tons of small ones. You can spend a night at yurt camp. Horses at your service in case you don’t like hiking, but trail is light and worth a good walk.

maybe just take a taxi/hitchhike to the first lake (which is also very beautiful) because the hike up there is a big gravel road and not too nice, but then go for the second more little lake which is very stunning
