Cēsu kosmosa izziņas centrs — Attraction in Cēsis

I attended the center with my 7th graders. we had a 2 hour guided study visit. Well... The center has already been tired of kids. Self-learning is good when motivated. My students paid 34 Eur for the trip to the center and the center itself... to be physically taken to the exhibits, everything they had to explore by themselves. There was no a person enthusiastically involved. Yes, we were not astronomers, we didn't prepare the questions and received immediately-if no questions, then you are not interested, kind a wrong place for you. From the early beginning of the tour??? Not ready for modern kids, not yet... As to the exhibits, well, too empty, the third floor mostly for younger kids to build the rockets from paper and plastic cube or something... Mine were not allowed to play with those... Lots of things to improve, add and first of all -the attitude. Maybe interested individuals would benefit more... but students were left with go, do, find something...about Cosmos something. For school visit-1 out of 5, for the center...

After browsing the center's website I expected something more interesting. Despite the grand announcements, most of the center consists of multimedia games, some of which do not work. Similarly to the models displayed on the 2nd floor. Walking on the three levels you can feel the empty space that someone has tried to fill with something without any idea. A big attraction is the possibility of making paper rockets yourself and then shooting them into the air. Great fun, but basing the entire attraction on a piece of paper stuck together with adhesive tape? Although the service at the cash register was polite and spoke English, the same cannot be said about the restaurant service. At 4:30 p.m. I went to buy myself a late coffee, but the lady in Russian and using her hands tried to explain to me that she had already turned off the coffee machine. So why do you write that the restaurant is open...

Kosmosa centru NEIESAKU! Salīdzinot ar citiem centriem, piemēram, Vizium un Ahhaa, līmenis nav līdzvērtīgs. Ņemot vērā, ka, pēc oficiālajiem datiem, šajā centrā tika investēti 9,2 miljoni eiro. Uz sienām ir daudz izkārtņu, kuras varētu aizstāt ar interaktīviem ekrāniem. Ir lieli plakāti ar skatiem uz zemi, taču nav norādīts, kura valsts vai pilsēta tā ir. Bet ir platums un garums. Daudz rekvizītu, maz tuvu reālai kosmosa tehnikai. Nav interesanti. Valodas: latviešu un angļu. Tajā pašā Ahhaa centrā apmeklētājiem ir 4 valodas, kas piesaista tūristus no citām valstīm. (igauņu, krievu, latviešu, angļu)

Ap centru valda pilnīgs posts un nabadzība, kas arī rada divkāršas sajūtas.

Kafejnīca: sliktas kvalitātes ēdiens. Viss ir no sasaldētas pārtikas. Cenas ir augstas. Bērniem nav nekas cits kā sausie frī kartupeļi, nageti un makaroni. Un tad nageti beidzās.

Cerības nemaz nav pamatotas. Nebija absolūti nekādas sajūtas par neko kosmisku.

Biļetes cena bija 33 € ģimenei 2 pieaugušie + 2 bērni.

Apmeklējuma vecums, visticamāk, ir no 6-7 gadiem, jaunākiem bērniem tas būs garlaicīgi. (bet šeit viss ir individuāli)

Projekta kopējās izmaksas ir EUR9217 923,81 (deviņi miljoni divi simti septiņpadsmit tūkstošideviņi simti divdesmit trīs eiro, 81 cents).

CENTRU NEIESAKU! Viens eksponāts mums tur esot izjuka, izplīsa vārsts, bet bērniem tas nesāpēja!

————————————- По сравнению с другими центрами, как Vizium и Ahhaa, уровень не дотягивает. Учитывая что вложено по официальным данным 9,2 млн евро в данный центр. Много табличек на стенах, вместо которых могли бы быть интерактивные экраны. Есть большие плакаты с видами земли, но не указано что за страна и город. Но зато есть широта и долгота. Много бутафории, мало приближенной к реальной космической аппаратуре. Первый этаж вызывает вопросы и связь с космосом. Языки: латышский и Английский. Тот же центр Ahhaa имеет для посетителей 4 языка, что привлекает туристов из других стран. (Эстонский, русский, латышский, английский)

Вокруг центра полная разруха и нищета, что тоже вызывает двоякие чувства.

Кафе: еда низкого качества. Все из заморозки. Цены высокие. Для детей кроме сухой картошки фри, нагетсов и макарон - ничего нет. И то нагетсы закончились.

Ожидания не оправданы абсолютно. Ощущения чего-то космического абсолютно не было.

Стоимость билета составила 33€ на семью 2 взрослых + 2 ребенка. Покупать надо заранее!!!

Возраст посещения скорее от 6-7 лет, для более младшего возраста будет скучно. (Но тут все индивидуально)
