Loved it. At the end of May, we were still able to see flying fish. There is a viewing point with binocular near Kuldiga District Museum, so you don't really need to walk downhill. If you go by car, beware that there are traffic restrictions in the area and Google Maps navigation is a bit wrong. Best to leave your car on the streat near Alekšupīte waterfall to reach the spot from the Castle park side. The longest waterfall in Europe is certainly worth a visit. It is beautiful in every season. In spring last weeks of April the fish from the sea go up the stream un offers stunning flying fish display. There's a new car park, you need to leave a note what time you parked on your dashboard, and there's a long street with free parking right by it. Unique waterfall in close proximity to the bridge.
Very unique waterfall that is the widest in Europe. Was sadly closed for repairs when I was there so you couldn't cross over it. But the views from both the bridge and nearby riverbanks still was worth the trip.
