Absolutely mind-blowing experience at Puppet Kingdom!

This is not just an exhibition – it’s a magical journey into a world of hand-crafted wonder. Each puppet and sculpture is a masterpiece, and somehow, each one is better than the last. The level of detail, creativity and craftsmanship is simply jaw-dropping. You truly have to see it to believe it!

It’s perfect for families – preschool kids enter for free, and it’s only €5 for everyone else, which is more than worth it. And don’t miss the costume corner at the end – it’s a fun and immersive way to wrap up the visit and really feel part of the whimsical world.

Perfect place for those who want to dress up and have fun, with a really beautiful doll museum next door. Also, got dressed by very beautiful staff memebers, was rly pleasant 😅 The costumes there were a lot, but not a lot of themes to choose from. There were only 1700s costumes for both, men and women, and steampunk style costumes. I wish there was more costumes themes and maybe even make up artists to color your face up 😁 That is why I rate it a 4-star place. Puppet kingdom? nah, I'd rather call them dolls or figures. ("A puppet is basically a movable model of a person or animal").

Lack of card payment possibility is a drawback. ATM's in Preiļi aren't available on every corner, took some time to get cash for this activity. Be aware of that, have cash with you in Latgale.
