There is a loop walking trail you can follow where the starting point is at a car park (very limited parking lots). The main attractions are at the start of the trail where you see the spring, red cliffs, and caves. The forest walk after the main attractions is pretty ordinary, so you can skip that and double-back to the carpark if you are not keen on long walks.

Do note that the trail can get muddy and slippery, and some portions have shoddy or no fencing, so I do not recommend walking during...

Extremely good water i guess . I saw people at the evening near sunset. By the spring. Still fastly getting the water. I still cant believe it. There was one guy who came by foot from town. He left with two big bags of water. We even joked that that water must be gold priced here :D p.s. the cliffs made and impression . Not what we expected at all. Way better. You will...

(ENG) The Red Hills are the steep banks of the floodplain of the Gauja River. Iron-rich water seeps through the sandstone and paints the walls a reddish-brown color. The wall is about 10 m high and contains several shallow grottoes, two of which contain sources of ferruginous water. The first grotto with a spring may disappoint, but you need to go further, there is the most beautiful grotto. It is worth visiting during the day in bright sunshine, because the grottoes are located in the middle of dense vegetation, and in the evening or in cloudy weather it is...

A nice trail, short walk <0.5km each direction if want to do an out and back, our roughly 2km to do loop, to the red cliffs and then forest walk back. Easy to do both options. Parking was close and had plenty of spaces when we visited
