Very nice walking destination on a calm day. Be careful when it's windy, most likely you will not be able to reach the Lighthouse as strong waves will fully block your path to it. Could be challenging to walk in winter because of slippery stones, etc. But other than that beautiful experience and relaxing walk watching sailing yachts and leaving or entering big ships. The only challenge could be with finding the perfect parking place for your car. The road to it is very narrow and 2 cars can hardly pass by each other. Also be aware of no cafes, no wc, etc. However this time (august) I've met the guy selling coffee from his van. Coffee price around 2,5 eur, water bottle 1 eur, snacks around 1-1,5 eur. He accepted cash and cards. Very nice service and communication. Distance to the Lighthouse from the parking slot,...

It was chilly, but the sun came out peeping for a short while just to prove it's around also in 2024 and long enough to be captured on a video and a picture. The pier was covered in ice and was rather tricky to walk on so we skipped it this time. We were so surprised there were literally dozens of folks taking a-1-Jan-walk here - with kids, dogs and without, young and old, fit and chubby - snapshot hunters, romantics, joggers and us. Water level was the highest ever of what I had seen so far here. The water was however rather calm and nearly now wind was present. Always...

Great place with scenic views for walks in a any weather conditions. Just dress for the weather it can get windy. It's about 30 min - 1h drive from city center depending on what transport you take. Parking lot is not next to breakwater, it's about 10-15 minute walk. If you are taking a bus (Bus number 24.) it's about 25 min walk. Near the road to breakwater and in the near by woods there are a lot of old ruins of military buildings and bunkers hidden around, you can google about the region and get a little history lesson it will be a good conversation topic while you...
