Ozo Golf Club — Attraction in Riga

The condition of this course is the best from all the ones I played in the Eastern European/Baltic states (Czech/Warsaw/Lithuania). And from the arrival at the reception to the last hole (incl. 19th Hole - great Menu card), almost everything is perfect. Only the sand bunkers need a bit of cleaning/rework to make them enjoyable/playable. And the only other thing that hinders the exceptional experience a bit is the closeness to one of the main in-and-out-of-Riga streets; but the course, its layout (forest, water, waterfront) and its beauty will make you forget that easily and only a few holes are actually close enough to hear the cars driving by ... Well done and keep up the good work already being done ...

One last hint for players: stay off the rough or take max a pitching wedge to get out of it! It's brutal as if you would be playing on the European PGA ...

For Ozo Golfclub Mgmt: please put the bins a bit closer and/or some trash boxes onto the tees; it's quite a 'tee' mess on some of the holes; the walking to the white tees is sometimes quite excessive and could be improved; and the boards with the hole layout are sometimes placed a bit weird (ie. playing the white does not provide a chance to look at the hole layout because it's placed at the yellow or...

I am very disappointed with the service at your golf club. The booking was not made by me but by my sister Yulia, as I am not in Riga and asked her to help me with this. The responses to our inquiries were extremely slow – we couldn’t complete the payment for over a week because each reply from your side took more than a day.

When we finally managed to pay, we were told that the price was only valid for weekdays from Monday to Thursday. To get a refund, we were told to contact the coach separately, with no clear information on how long it would take, whether we would get a full refund, or if we would get a refund at all.

This was supposed to be a gift for my colleague, and I am deeply upset by the poor level of service. For a club of your caliber, this is absolutely...

Okay I like to start off by saying that it was raining cats and dogs for at least the first half an hour of my round.

The course was in great shape. Definitely want to walk this course because of the layout and the fact that there are limited carts. Also take note that you cannot drive the carts in the fairway cart path only.

Coming from the state's you're definitely going to want to play the White t's. There are few challenging holes and blind shots. The course is very enjoyable to play. If you're visiting Latvia and you're an avid golfer definitely put this gem of a course on your list of something to do.
