Assi river trail — Attraction in Baskinta

Baskinta is one of the most beautiful villages in the Metn district and Lebanon, and the ِِAssi River Trail is one of the most beautiful paths in Baskinta and the Metn. While walking on the trail, you will encounter walnut trees, maple trees, pine trees and oaks, many streams, bridges, stairs, huge rocks, the river and the waterfall. ⚠️WARNING read this before you go: You can start the trail from either, near restaurant “al nahr” or a few meters down the road near a house. -If you choose to start from near the restaurant you’ll have to climb several ladders.
