الميزة الأبرز في سرايا نسيب باشا في صيدا، لبنان هي "قاعة شمعايا الرئيسية" الرائعة. يلي تم نقل غرفة الاستقبال الكبيرة المصنوعة من الرخام والفسيفساء والمرمر يلي بتعود للقرن الثامن عشر من قصر شمعايا في دمشق بحارة اليهود لصاحبه اليهودي شمعايا أفندي بواسطة نجيب بك جنبلاط لزوجته كرمز للتفاني والحب في عام 1946. واستغرق الأمر 12 عام و 400 عامل للاندماج في السراي. تتميز القاعة بسقف مقبب مزدوج يبلغ ارتفاعه 7 أمتار محاط بجدران ذات نقوش رخامية وتطعيمات...
