!!! This is for Qehmez entrance !!!! Make sure you have the right entrance when choosing your trails at the reserve.

The weather plays a big part in the difficulty level, so if it's really hot you either have to go super early or leave it for fall or spring season.

Very easy to get there, free parking and the entrance is now 20 000 LBP for adults and 10 000 LBP for children.

The first part is a bit steep so if you're not an experienced hiker or in a very good shape you might find yourself a little out of breath but it's for a short time only.

Once you reach the top it becomes a lot easier, the Jabal Moussa Reserve team had worked a lot recently on the trail as well, making it a lot clearer so you'll hardly miss any point or turn (make sure to also take the brochure with the map with you from the entrance booth).

You have several trails so depends on what time you actually start and how tough you want it to be.

The staff will help you but in case you arrive late or want an easy hike go for trails 2-3 which is around 6 or 7 KM (we skipped the byout loop) Also they will give you a number in case you get lost or any accident happens.

You have longer trails of 11, 15 and going all the way up to 20 KM for the full reserve loop.

PS: make sure you check the entrance booth for honey and jams. The price for the fig jam jar for example (the only one available this time) is 45 000 LBP.

Taste is excellent! Trails are very well maintenained with a beautiful...

The hiking trails of Jabal Moussa offer an unparalleled experience for those seeking to explore the natural beauty of Lebanon. The trails are well-marked and maintained, catering to hikers of all levels.

What sets the Jabal Moussa hiking trails apart is the diversity of the terrain and the effort put into preserving the natural environment. Hikers are treated to stunning views of the mountains, valleys, and forests that surround them, while also being educated on the local flora and fauna through the visitor center at the trailhead.

The trails are suitable for both novice and experienced hikers, with options ranging from easy strolls to challenging treks that test one's endurance. What's more, the emphasis on sustainable tourism makes it a responsible choice for those looking to explore the outdoors while minimizing their impact on the environment.

Overall, the Jabal Moussa hiking trails offer an unforgettable adventure that is not to be missed. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a beginner, you'll find a trail that suits your abilities and provides a memorable experience of Lebanon's...

There's several trails at Jabal Moussa reserve ranging from easy to hard satisfying all hikers at all levels🤞 We started from Qehmez entrance and covered trail (2 & 3) - the old houses loop.

At first, the hike starts with a challenging steep hill then the hike got easier. It might be challenging for beginners at first as you don't even have the chance to warmup. Definitely, it's recommended to be done early in the morning or during fall or spring to avoid heat 🥵

Have your snacks with you as there's some nice spots where you can take a break and disconnect. Always remember to keep the trail clean✅🥰

Entrance fee is 20.000 L.L. They have some delicious Jam (only fig jam where available this time, small jar for...
