A beautiful place, I would give it 5 stars if lifeguards were more serious in their work ,the place has a beautiful gardens ,fruit trees, and other trees , it is big and has a beautiful architect ,pumps are hidden in old style lebanese houses ( village houses ). It contains 8 swimming pools, 2 for adults only, the rest for all the family with different sizes and depth ,one has waves , other is a lazy river that is very long ( I got bored , a splash of water in the middle could entertain ) and the last one is only for slides ( here and in the lazy river I was concerned as no lifeguard seen beside the slides and children fell over each other in the swimming pool !!!!!) My child fell over a girl and someone fell on her so I had to stay all the time asking children to wait their turns ) Lazy river had a life guard that left his sitemany times to bring the tires , no one was helping him and children where in danger . The toilets were very clean so is the kitchen ( a big thanks ) I would come back again but next time will talk to the supervisor before entering to check what is their lifeguard policy Nannies are allowed to swim when they pay

Summer 2025 I had a great experience at this resort before even stepping inside the place. It is a ladies a resort and my son with special needs is 10 years old, once I mentioned that to the owner he was more than welcoming and he even refunded the ticket for my son and he welcomed us very dearly. This is a unique experience in Lebanon and I appreciate it a lot from the owner Mr. Jamal Abo Merhi, a huge shout out to him, his kindness and understanding is above and beyond. For the resort, I loved the variety of spots, two dedicated for ladies alone and the lower part for ladies with kids. The kids enjoyed the lazy river, the wave pool and the slides. The food was ok as well and the place is clean specially toilets and the staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for ladies with kids. We will visit again as well! Thank you Guanaban Resort and Mr. Jamal for the unforgettable experience ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great resort, clean and both kid and adult friendly. There are some adult-only pools, or places where children can swim together. There’s a lazy River as well as wave pool and even slides too. The slides are for children however, very small and not fast. The lazy River is limited to 4 or 5 floaters at a time so you have to wait your turn, which is a bit frustrating. The food also is expensive and does not taste good. Don’t really recommend if you want to eat there unless you’re starving. The bathrooms and changing rooms are clean which I appreciate. It’s really a bad impression when your bathrooms are dirty. Overall a good and fun place to spend your day, but not the best place to eat.

We saw the marketing on Instagram and really wanted to try. Once we were in the lounging chair and their cover were disgusting, the small table between them was filthy. The umbrella we requested was broken. Everything was covered by sand dust and dead leaves. The pools had hot water in them and were filled with grass and residue oil and hair girls were not told to put there hair up so the pool contained more hair than water. The water was filled with chlorine it was normal procedure if it was in normal quantity one dip in the water and our eyes hunted we thought it was normal after 30 min our face started to burn and a little bit latter my hand hurted. The amount of chlorine is enormous instead of cleaning there pools they added some without thinking about the people in the pool. The filter didn't work all trash in the pool stayed in the pool. The bathrooms are also very dirty normally at the end of the day it was okay to see a little hair or a little sand on the ground but being the first to use it it was disgusting knowing that it was here from yesterday or previous to that. The was underwear on the ground nobody know to who they are. Overall I don't even think they deserve the one star ratting I wish I could...

Very nice swimming resort, it is not cheap but if you follow their page on facebook sometimes they put nice offers, for example 100,000 LBP or 150,000 LBP instead of 300,000 for an adult. I am going to list the good and bad things I noticed: The good:

  1. Nice and clean toilets
  2. Many showers, so it is almost impossible to need to wait
  3. The place is big with many pools
  4. The music is not loud, I read other reviews about loud music but when I went it was actually low and not annoying at all The bad:
  5. Lazy river is disappointing as there aren't many floaties, so you need to wait
  6. The slides pool is DANGEROUS! The water is not deep enough, after the child comes down from the slide, if he is fast, he will hit the floor, it is less than 1 meter deep! I saw some getting hurt including my daughter, it is strange how come I didn't find anyone else complaining about this.
  7. They don’t allow burqini which is a shame. I have visited European countries like Germany, and there it is allowed normally.
  8. I am not sure why there are too many flies there, you can't enjoy sitting without having to...
