Pypliai mound — Attraction in Kaunas County

Pyplių piliakalnis randasi palyginti netoli nuo Kauno, šalia Kačerginės miško pakraščio. Piliakalnis turi seną istoriją, jo apylinkėse rasta istorinių radinių, turi netgi legendų apie atsiradimą. Į piliakalnį buvo atvykta automobiliu ir pasukus iš plento 140 Kaunas - Zapyškis - Šakiai pavažiuota šalia miško žvyrkeliu. Galutiniame taške pasimato automobilių stovėjimo aikštelė, informaciniai stendai. Nei viešo tualeto, nei šiukšliadėžių nėra. Paėjus nuo stovėjimo aikštelės pasimato pats piliakalnis. Į jį tenka užlipti padarytais laiptais. Vaizdai aplink gražūs. Piliakalnis tikrai didelis ir aukštas. Turint noro galima ne tik pabūti ant piliakalnio, bet ir pasivaikščioti jo apylinkėse. The mound of Pypliai is located relatively close to Kaunas, near the edge of the Kačerginė forest. The mound has a long history, historical finds have been found in its vicinity, and there are even legends about its origin. The mound was reached by car and after turning from highway 140 Kaunas - Zapyškis - Šakiai, we drove along the gravel road near the forest.
