I stopped by on a rainy morning when there was nothing to do outside. The visitor center is a new building with a lot of potential. Upon entering, the people working here neither greeted nor suggested what to do inside, nor told about the park itself. There are some leaflets with info for tourists, but they don't have any of the more interesting larger publications or books to buy. It looks like part of the exhibition wasn't even open yet, even though I visited during normal business hours. There is an aquarium simulating the bottom of the Baltic Sea with several fish (brave flounder frolic around it, and otherwise it also looks a bit drab). There are several tablets where you can explore the history, watch footage, this was probably the most interesting part of the whole visit. I wish the visitor center to appreciate every person who comes here, work actively and tell, invite, show, try to interest and involve the guests.
Compared to Pagramatis, Viešvilė, Rambybas and Nemunas Delta visitor centers, this center needs serious...
