It is unfortunately being oversold and the actual experience is quite underwhelming. Ticket prices are only 5 € for adults, so it might sound like a good deal, but there's a lot of room for improvement on almost every step of the way. Once you enter you're pleasantly guided to where to start and how to continue. And then you enter the museum part. There was very little information about the numerous interesting (!) exhibits; there are some interactive exhibits too, but we found only one of them to be working/turned on. Now to the winter garden.. it is the last stop in the tour and has interesting plants there, but there's not even labels on what plants there are and where they're sourced/originated from. When you enter the winter garden the smell is immediately taken over by the smell of the restaurant inside it. I haven't tried the restaurant, so can't report on it, maybe the whole experience is different if you decide to dine there, as the tables in the winter garden do look alluring. Though some of the last exhibit rooms are right between restaurant tables so there's foot traffic next to those dining or waiting for their food. Again quite awkward. So now YMMV, just go there without your...

What an amazing fairytale like place. The first time i went there i was 8 and it left such an impression on me. I visited it again recently and it’s even more beautiful! The little details from the radiators to railings, the wonderful spiral staircase, lava rock imitation, fountains and the koi fish. It felt more intimate than the Kew gardens, more embracing than New York botanical garden. A piece of Lithuanian history, showing how important and...

Beautiful location to visit with fascinating history. A must visit if you're nearby. The food served in the restaurant is really good and the staff are lovely but the setting and location are exquisite. You're literally dining in the balcony greenhouse, home to enchanting fish and turtles in the pond the floor below. They're also open much later than the museum next door so no need to rush your tour!

Gorgeous place, lots of greenery. Completely magical. There is also a cafe inside to sit down, have a coffee and admire the view. The winter garden is attached to a museum - there is one ticket for everything. Great way to spend an hour or two, certainly worththe detour from the seaside while travelling back to Vilnius from holiday.
