Well, maybe historical nice if you know or get to know the historical and scientific site on this, but the places changed to its worse. The holes are not cleaned up. There is no cave any more as it is fallen apart and leaves all over and it seems that some parts just collapsed. It looks like nobody is taken care of it or they just want to leave it naturally. Not worth to go if you do not know the scientific story behind it. Also the wooden stairs were replaced by metallic ones. I would like to know why the ground collapses. Seems that there is really an underground lake (I saw some pics online and such) underneath. The area is covered with sink holes....
Read moreThis area is full of sinkholes different size. Very interesting natural occurrence! This one is quite deep. Story tells, that a cow fell into this sinkhole. You can use stairs to go to the bottom of the hole. But there is mosquitos everywhere, be careful. I strongly recommend to see all others sinkholes around and especially the "Barsuko Ola" (it is to the left of "geologists pit") There are multiple wooden trails and plenty of bigger sinkholes.
The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because all signs are only in Lithuanian.
