Positive: On the territory of the estate you can find so many interesting things to do and what to see that we barely managed to run around in two days. There are interesting museums, and we liked the museum of ancient technology very much. I also liked the museum of everyday life, the atmosphere on the territory is beautifully conveyed. So many interesting specimens were collected in one place, and we even managed to walk inside through the only preserved mill in Lithuania. Unfortunately, the excursion "The Way of Grain" turned out to be very short, but if we had more time, we would gladly listen and listen to fascinating details about life of those times. And on the way out, we got a delicious bread, which we made ourselves. And I must add that the estate has a wonderful pool! It is one of the best where we had a chance to swim. And it so happened that we swam alone. The child was delighted, and we were happy. We spent only 2 nights, but we got a lot of impressions! The staff is very friendly and at my request we were able to make a surprise for my husband on his birthday, for this my special thanks to them. We were very satisfied, and the child did not want to leave. I think we will come back in the summer 🤗. Negative: The kitchen didn’t work in the evening (not a season time) so we had to order food from the nearest town Biržai. Thanks to the stuff who advised us the website with a cafe, we ordered the food with free...
Read moreThis homestead is absolutely amazing. We stayed here for one night, but next time we are definitely coming for the whole weekend. We stayed in the building which was opened just this summer, so everything is brand new. Bed was very comfortable and room size was good. Breakfast is charged separately (5 eur per person) and you can choose elk sausages, various dumplings or omelette. There is also selection of cold dishes available and of course coffee / tea. We enjoyed a lot. The swimming pool is huge and kids as well as adults enjoyed it to the max! Also, included in the price is Aukštaitis homestead, where you can visit authentic and functioning (!) windmill and other buildings. Then you can enjoy view and sounds by elk, also alpacas, donkey, pony and muflons. There is tennis court, table tennis, mini football, basketball (at additional small cost). Also belonging to the same owners nearby is museum of old automobiles, bicycles, motorcycles, tractors and other means of transport (charged at 4 eur per adult and 2 eur per child). It is amazing to see how much love and care is put into developing Sodeliskiai manor and its surroundings. Absolutely must to visit! And we will for...
